Holsworthy, 8 miles, has a good selection of local shops and supermarkets along with a weekly market. The market town of Okehampton and Launceston with its historic castle are a short drive away. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all on offer close by and Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature lovers.
