A dissappointment
Check in was not ideal as owner wouldnt share key code till 2.30 and l never appeared to have received the full address. Knew the street, so found it by looking at same accom on other sites. Kitchen facilities were adequate but not 100% clean. Cutlery was sticky and drawer dirty, inside of bin was dirty, windows throughout house were dirty. Caffeteire in kitchen was dirty,as was dustpan and brush. In downstairs rooms some surfaces were dusty. Outside the house was not well maintained. The facade was crumbling and looked awful.....didnt refect the house , that had been reasonably well modernised. The garden area was like a wasteland with a table and chairs on it. No effort had been made to weed it and somehow smarten it up. Only took a few photos taken unfortunately. Otherwise house was comfortable. Parking was problematic, only free after 6.00 pm and before 8.00am, otherwise 6.00 for 4hrs, with a vigilant traffic warden on the beat! There is free street parking about 5 mins walk away, but visitors need to know that.
