Pros: Offers airport pickup for a fee ($30 USD). Convenient location near the ferry to San Pedro. Clean room with fresh towels, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant upstairs is good—highly recommend sitting outside for a better experience. Cons: Noise from the kitchen above was disruptive until 11:30 PM. We called twice to address it, but nothing changed, so we had to use headphones and loud music to drown it out. Construction next door blocked any view from our room, which was disappointing.

This is our go-to hotel in Belize City for our first and last days in Belize City while traveling to the islands. Great restaurant on site and walking distance to San Pedro Express Water Taxi.

Fancy hotel

Very fancy place and good location. The restaurant was excellent and the food and prices were great. The only downside was that the windows didn’t seal good and it was raining when we got there. Had some water come in through the window and ran on the floor. Later the wind picked up and you could hear the howling sound coming from the windows. Other than that the staff and hotel was great.

Incredible Stay at the Golden Bay

The Golden Bay was FABULOUS! The employees were always friendly and helpful. The Golden Bay is also in a great location to get to various attractions. The restaurant was also a great place to dine.

Anel at the front desk was wonderful. She came up to the room herself and helped fix the TV and air conditioning. Called for us a taxi and got us fresh towels and coffee. Hotel was undergoing construction that was the only complaint

Hotel is great. The best. Area is not great but safe enough. Hotel shuttle is good but not cheap. Restaurant is very good atmosphere. Cruise ship terminal is close by for walking.

Hotel is currently building a second wing. Construction noise is a minimum, yet southern views impeded. Restaurant food is very good and staff is very attentive including Holdane and Hairo.
