Lovely Off Season Stay

Perfect for a family stay. We used everything in the kitchen. The blender, oven, pots and pans, toaster, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Everything worked great and was clean when we arrived. The table is large enough for several people. Quality furnishings just a bit outdated. The dryer took hours to dry the load of laundry but it did eventually dry. The pool is heated! My daughter and I had a lovely time in the pool and hot tub. It was 51 degrees outside and still warm in the pool. Check in was quick and the staff friendly. She told us there was a rooftop area where you can lounge and look out over the water. We went up at sunset. There are lots of chairs and my kids saw a lighthouse signal for the first time. We had a great time!

The Sandcastle is such a great place to rejuvenate and relax! Everyone who works there is kind and professional! I have been coming here for about 12 years and look forward to every trip I plan to Birch Bay.

Wonderful stay, at a very reasonable price. Staff are so friendly and gave lots of tips on coffee shops, restaurants and things to do. Great amenities room, room was roomy with kitchen and view. The pool was not open, but we were directed to the sister company next door where we enjoyed the pool and hot tub (in the snow!). Would come again most definitely when in area!

Christmas at the Raintree

It was fabulous!! They left us some sparkling cider as it was Christmas. The unit was clean and well appointed. It was too warm with no way to control temp within the unit. The lobby was decorated for the holidays and the staff was so fun and friendly. We will be back and the price was fabulous.

This stay was absolutely amazing! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at with a price that was unbelievable! Granted I know it’s not during peak time but this hotel would still be worth it!
