We are staying for two nights. The rooms are really clean and recently updated. It's a few minutes walk to the historic downtown, and it's pretty easy to go from the hotel out into the mountains because it's on a wonderfully Central Street.

I'm going to be fair here; if you're staying here it's because of the comparative cost, and you're not expecting a super amazing hotel. For the cost, it's acceptable. Service was just apathetic, but not angry. The textiles were absolutely immaculate and the room was well cleaned: their cleaning staff deserves a raise! There were no bugs. The water is perfectly drinkable. It was extremely quiet the first night, and horrifically noisy the second night. The room I stayed in was in dire need of repair; there were holes in the bathroom ceiling & the tub faucet didn't actually reach the wall. Duct tape held up the shower curtain bar. Chunks of paint were falling off the walls. The lamp plug in stopped working; the refrigerator didn't work at all. I wouldn't stay there again unless I had to, but again, for the cost it is acceptable.

The property is aged and a bit run down. The facilities are very limited. There are some updated areas in the room- the bathroom tiling is fairly nice. The rooms aren't dirty, but they aren't immaculately clean, either. Water is hot & pressure is great, though our tub faucet was broken (shower head was old, but worked great). Very basic, but good price. Area is very noisy, so sleeping with white noise or music is suggested.
