Great weekend

Check-in was easy, and the home was clean and spacious. We had absolutely nothing to complain about, and we plan to book here again if the house is available for the next trip!

Dissapointing stay

The beds were comfortable and the toys for the kids were a nice touch. However the cleanliness of the home was a major issue. Upon arrival there were dirty showers with mildew stains, what looked like mold around the bathroom windows/ceilings, dead flies around the kitchen sink and very dirty floors throughout. After contacting the owner the night we got in and informing him of all the above issues, he did not get back to us until the next morning. The cleaner did come right out the next morning, but only to clean the floors. Even after the floors were cleaned again, we all had black feet after walking around the house for 30 minutes. Additionally when we went to start a load of towels at check out we noticed mold in the washing machine, meaning all the clean linens we had used were washed and then being washed again in a dirty washing machine. We specifically booked this place because it looked extra kid friendly and it had overall positive reviews, however the home was not clean and the owner was not quick to respond or apologetic. The home was also cheaply remodeled with unfinished baseboard molding that looked extremely rough in every room, doors that would not shut properly, and parts of the doors covered with duct tape. We've stayed in dozens of vacation homes through VRBO over the years and while the neighborhood was nice, this was one of our worst experiences. We ended up leaving a day early to return home to get out of the house.

Nice suburban house in NE Bend.

Normally, we would have stayed closer to the Deschutes River but this place was less than 2 blocks from my daughter's. All the basics are there. We stayed 3 weeks and had no problems. Everything you need is very close with major retailers & plenty of local businesses within 5 minutes. Highways are repaved, so easy to get anywhere in Bend w/in 10 minutes. Hot tub was a plus as temps went down to18°F. Would definitely return to this house!

We stayed here while I attended a conference at Riverhouse and it was close and easy to access. Kids enjoyed a place to spread out with their toys.

Fabulous

We had a fabulous stay in Bend. The neighborhood and little park by the house were wonderful. House was clean and very well stocked. Owner was so communicative and also extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend.
