Conveniently located within 15 minutes of Rend Lake Resort and golfing. 10 minutes from the town of Benton and 3 minutes from Benton golf course. This spacious house comfortably sleeps 9. Cook you and your family a lovely meal in the fully equipped kitchen, relax in our spacious living rooms and enjoy a game with your buddies, then drop into our luxuriously soft beds and enjoy a comfy night of sleep! And when you arise, make yourself a cup of coffee and sit on our large deck or patio and enjoy the wild life. Toast some marshmallows over the fire pit while watching the birds in the trees around the house, or the white tail deer in the field across the road. And if it’s your lucky moment, you may even see a huge whitetail buck! The red foxes are even known to run in the area! And if you feel like having a family outing... take about an hour and half drive to Sikeston Missouri and enjoy a meal at Lamberts ( Home of the Thrown Rolls) or take an outing to St. Louis Missouri and visit the Arch or enjoy several hours at the Magic House ( hands on children museum) Or even within 10 minutes of Whitetail Acres, you can enjoy antique stores or the old jail house museum. And don’t forget to check out Scooters coffee shop while your at it!

We used this same property a year ago and it more than met our needs. We enjoyed the stay so much that we used it again for this year's adventure to Rend Lake. The remodeled patio and firepit were a nice and used improvement.

We really enjoyed the stay, lots of cute wildlife to watch and very serene. Plenty of activities for outdoor games here as well. While the town seems small there's just about everything you'd need in Benton.

Quiet, peaceful location. Lots of room for the kids to play both inside and outside. We made good use of the firewood and firepit. Really good value for the price. It was the perfect place to get together with family and watch the eclipse.

90th Birthday

Family and two dogs traveled from Maryland to celebrate my Grandmother’s 90th birthday in DuQuoin. Perfect place for our family and dogs to unwind after a long drive. Very clean. Had everything we needed. I honestly do not know if there was a lakefront. We were on the move when we weren’t sleeping.

Off the beaten path

This was off the beaten path, which was perfect for our needs. It was peaceful, plenty of room, and well kept. I was surprised how fast some of the trucks went down the road, but it wasn’t often, it just surprised me. Overall, it was a nice place to stay. We would stay here again. :)

Golf and fishing
