I didn't go to the bar while I was there, but I did make reservations at the Japanese restaurant. The sushi was amazing and the staff was friendly and lively. Make your reservation ahead of time. They're very busy.

You are paying for the location and the aesthetic. When we travel, we usually look for the Garden Inn variety of the Hilton chain - this was a special quick get away for our anniversary, so we splurged. It was not worth the extra cash to be a block away from downtown. There is plenty of public parking within a block of downtown if you want to go with a more affordable option without the pretension. For a boutique hotel, the water pressure was embarrassing. Sound proofing, non-existent, we could hear everyone in the hall and our neighbors. They are legit when they say there isn't coffee service in the rooms - but hey, there is an overpriced 'local' coffee joint in the lobby that you can pay for. Also, placing the smoke detector that has a bright blinking green light above the sleeping area? Genius move. If you are neurospicy at all - this format was not a good fit. The ADA shower had very little incline, so while this might be good for stability it was terrible for water drainage. If you have a mobility device like a wheel chair, I think it would be manueverable but if you need a walker, crutches or cane the floor got considerably slick. It was a beautiful hotel, the design elements were fantastic but it's all presentation and no substance.

I ablosutely loved this hotel. I arrived hours earlier for check in and the kindly allowed me to do it earlier. The place as very clean and the staff took the time to explain where I could find something to eat. The coffee shop in the hotel has amazing Chai tee. It was my first time in Arkansas and I will definitely be coming back and staying at the same place. The location was perfect for me. I didn’t want to rent a car so I was able to walk everywhere.
