Overall a good property and good location. Bookings made via third party channels such as Hotels.com seem to get the most undesirable rooms; in this case the back of the property has a club/bar below it which blasts music until late into the night making sleep a bit of a challenge. Breakfast is a great spread but packed as this property serves the cruise crowd. Word of warning, the pool has age restrictions after 10:00 AM and there is a $25/person cost for adults.

I booked for 4 days and my window faced an office building (where they could clearly see inside) so I had to have curtains closed all the time. There was also a bar across the street and it was so loud until 2-3 am including empty glass into trash at 3. I mentioned this to staff and they didn’t offer to move my room. The rooms are quite small too with too much furniture in them so not enough space for a large suitcase. I was alone and can only imagine a couple with 2 large suitcases. The bed configuration is odd and no plug on one side of the bed. Great location if facing different direction and for walking.

Great location

Very nice hotel in an ideal location for exploring the town. Room was rather compact and A/C never quite made to room cool enough at night (Not often a problem in Bergen I guess).

Very nice hotel & staff. Superb breakfast. The LARGEST bed pillow you will ever see. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy outside being in the city centre; late at night and early morning. No A/C meant having the window open which allowed for all the street noise. But would still recommend. Short walk from train station helped too.

Great Place

We stayed here after a Hurtigruten cruise. We walked to the hotel from the terminal even though it was a bit of a hike. We also walked to the train station after we checked out. It was very convenient to both. The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!

Centrally located and updated, clean hotel. Common areas were lovely and restaurant was crowded and looked like fun atmosphere but we did not dine there. They offered a wonderful, expansive breakfast buffet. Rooms were nothing special in size or decor but totally fine.

Very central to Bergen and everything in walking distance Breakfast just amazing, so much choice all tastes very good Only issue I had was no power was working around the bed area, brought to the attention of reception straight away and was NOT resolved.

This property was pretty good. The room was clean and the location was very convenient. The reason I didn’t give it more stars is because the staff weren’t particularly friendly - in fact a couple staff at the front desk were quite rude. Also the rooms were a bit outdated but my kids liked the bunk beds in the family room.
