Villa Elegance moves you from the very first moment. For nearly a century, this characterful home has invited guests to stay, to unwind, to discover. In 2017 and 2018, the villa was fully transformed under the hand of renowned interior architect Piet-Jan van den Kommer. His signature is felt in every space.

This is a home to find peace. To be together. To simply not have to.

The spacious eat,in kitchen is where the day begins. Coffee and fresh bread at the table while soft light streams through the tall windows. For those who prefer to leave dinner to someone else, a private chef can be arranged on request through us, for an evening that unfolds all on its own.

Through the steel pivot doors, the formal dining room opens up. A long table beneath sculptural lamps, herringbone parquet floors, tall windows with views over the lane. This is the place for the long dinner, for the first cork of the evening, for moments you want to remember.

The intimate lounge is the moment of the evening. A generous lounge sofa, a double,sided fireplace, dancing flames behind glass. Here the house comes to rest.

And then there is the outdoor bar on the veranda. A bottle in the cooler, glasses on the wooden bar. Time for an aperitif.

Upstairs await eight spacious bedrooms, respectfully numbered 1901, 1902, 1903. A subtle tribute to the year the house was built. Each room features a king size bed with crisp white hotel linens and its own ensuite bathroom.

The bathrooms are couture. The morning ritual here feels like a private spa moment. This is boutique hotel hospitality, translated into your very own villa.

The walled garden is designed as an outdoor living concept. A professional outdoor kitchen for those who love to cook over fire. A long wooden table for summer breakfasts in the open air. And a lounge area with a large outdoor fireplace, where evenings grow long and conversations soften.

The centre of Bergen is a two minute walk away. Art galleries, culinary hotspots, boutique shops and terraces where summer never quite seems to end. Via the Eeuwigelaan, the beach of Bergen aan Zee is a quarter of an hour by bike. The forest begins just around the corner. Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are within reach for a day of culture. Or you simply stay where you are, and let Villa Elegance be the backdrop for memories that last.

Villa Elegance is a house made for togetherness. For families, for generations under one roof, for groups of friends who want to slow down for a weekend. A place to truly come to a standstill.

That is why parties, celebrations and bachelor parties do not fit here. Not out of reservation, but out of love for the quiet that makes Villa Elegance so special, for you and for the surrounding neighbourhood. We therefore screen our groups with care, so that everyone feels at home here. Pets are unfortunately not permitted.
