Worth it. House is beautiful and secluded but close to town, grocery store and the state parks. We were comfortable everywhere and everything was in working order. Hot tub, sauna and indoor fireplace was so nice to have. Had fun with the video game system and enjoyed the views, wildlife watching and sunrises from the back of the house.Ash the host was prompt in his responses and thoughtful having wine and chocolate available for our anniversary trip. Highly recommend and will keep this at the top of the list for another trip in the future.

This is a beautiful property in a secluded neighborhood.We enjoyed the house and property, especially the hot tub!The Berkeley Springs are provided much in the way of things to see and great places to eat!I recommend trying this one!!!

Amazing house and stay!

This is the second time we stayed at this beautiful property, both times to get away from pre-election jitters (we live in DC). It is the most perfect house to unwind and find peace. We loved that we could bring our dogs and children, cook together, paint on the amazing porch and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the area. The beds are SO comfy, the house has everything you need. The owners provide special touches like wine and chocolate on arrival. We grilled dinner on the working grill and watched shooting stars from the hot tub. Our favorite home by far. We will be back, hopefully before the next election.

Great summer vacation!

My family and I rendezvoued in Berkeley Springs for a week together coming from NC, PA, and IL. We loved this house! The host communicated quickly, and the house was clean when we arrived. There was enough room for us to have "alone time" when we needed it while having great spaces to gather. The screened in back porch was my favorite! I had my morning coffee and yoga out there every day, and we played games at the picnic table in the evenings. The house is located right across the road from Cacapon State Park Lodge and Resort. We are at the restaurant there a couple times, hiked, and shot skeet. I highly recommend it. We also visited the springs in town, rented a Roman bath for an hour, and visited local shops and artisans. Berkeley Springs is a hidden gem. We will definitely return especially because this house is the perfect size for a group while being surrounded by nature. I can't say enough positive things.

Great Christmas Getaway

My family and I had a great time at this property. The scenery is just wonderful and the hot tub is so relaxing. The Christmas decor made the place very cozy. The Google maps directions to the property were not accurate but the property manager was very responsive and was able to get us there in no time. My only complaint is that there wasn't any firewood or lighter fluid for the chimney. But still we had a awesome time! Thanks!

Thanksgiving Get Away!

We all had a wonderful time at Sleepy Creek Getaway Mountain Resort! The property is as listed, very spacious with really comfy beds. Lots of things in the area to keep us entertained. If I had to list anything negative, it would be that more seating is needed in the main living room, as all of us could not watch TV together at the same time. But we made do, and had one of the best experiences for a Thanksgiving holiday! Our host, Ash, was exceptionally kind and always available to answer any question we had. Sleepy Creek Getaway is amazing!!

Perfect getaway

Fabulous property and fantastic host. The house is even better than it appears in the listing photos and comes well-stocked with all the amenities and kitchen essentials one might need. Everything was as described in the listing and worked flawlessly. We enjoyed the fireplace/firepit and the hot tub and specially appreciated the bidets in two of the bathrooms! Ash was a very kind and accommodating host and responded to all our questions very promptly. Can't recommend the property enough and look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Peaceful long weekend!

We loved this roomy cottage! With a dog and 3 teenagers who each like their own space, it was wonderful to know everyone could have privacy but still gather together. Reading and doing puzzles on the porch were such relaxing ways to unwind. We would come here again in a heartbeat!

WONDERFUL property!

As soon as we arrived at this property we knew we would be sad to have to leave it. Everything was perfect… the kitchen was beautiful and well stocked, the beds were SO comfortable, the house was spotless and we also enjoyed the dog friendly details for our dog. We were a mixed family group with teenagers and a 5 year old and there was space for everyone to play and relax. Such a peaceful setting and our favorite part was playing cards on the screened in porch together in the evenings. Great location, close to parks and town. The hosts were kind and responsive and check in and out were a breeze. You can tell that the house is well loved and good times happen there. We will be back for sure.
