I liked the location very much. Their computer program that took my personal information a day before my stay began, mentioned the damage deposit, but offered no link to the payment page. SO, although I arrived within 2 minutes of my projected arrival, I was unable to enter the apartment because they had not sent me the code. It took multiple phone calls and MSM messages to finally get the code. Also, the three different units are not labeled so one has to try the code in each until it finally works. Kitchen: salt yes, but no pepper, no olive oil, no vinegar. Coffee filters yes, but no ice trays, no bottle opener, no bread knife or other serrated knife.. Running the toaster, kitchen light, and hot water pitcher at the same time leads to broken circuits that must be reset. Staircase to loft bed is treacherous. If one wants to take anything upstairs (e.g. computer, phone, nightcap) they have to come in the backpack so that one has both hands free, to avoid falling/dying. Lighting is problematic: there was no way I could find to turn off the central lighting from the loft. SO, if one comes in late at night one has to go upstairs, turn on the light, go back down, and turn off the central light; or climb the stairs in the dark. Not enough electrical outlets near the breakfast table, adding a few power strips would fix this.

Invasion of privacy. Address not accurate.

After booking I received message requiring personal data such as passport details. This was not acceptable and I requested cancellation (within one hour of booking). The owner told me it was not possible. I lost trust in Vrbo as they should be the sole entity holding such data, not each owner. Access to the apartment was not per the address. The actual entry was around the corner - and should be included in instructions. Only a helpful neighbor happened to know and instruct me, in the rain. Other platforms I've used do a much better job of hosting, communicating, and providing genuine customer service.

Not a pleasant property, untrustworthy host

The apartment looked bright and airy in the photos, and even the description references "the bright room." However, very disappointed when I arrived. Uncomfortably hot and stuffy, no way to turn the heat off or down. Exacerbated by a musty groundfloor smell. No windows to open except the transom that was already wide open to no effect. Turned the lights on to find that it was too dim to read. No supplemental lamps other than a single overhead light in the main room that I turned up all the way and still too dim. Lights on in the kitchen creates a buzzing sound. Toilet was unclean. Had to leave immediately, VRBO spoke to the host who initially promised a partial refund for the 2nd night. But they later went back on this and I have received nothing although I had to book and stay in another place.

Die schlechteste Ferienwohnung die ich jemals angemietet habe!

Es gab keinen Aufenthalt, da ich nach ca. 30 Min (diese Zeit brauchte ich um eine Alternative zu finden) dieses in keiner Weise der Beschreibung entsprechende, verdreckte, ohne Fenster zum Öffnen, mit einer lebensgefĂ€hrlichen Treppe und hohen Stufen versehende Loft, welches zuvor eine Gewerbeimmobilie war, zu verlassen. Positiv war nur, dass der Hauptvermieter mir den gesamten Mietpreis innerhalb kĂŒrzester Zeit zurĂŒckerstattet hat.

Top gelegen aber mit MĂ€ngeln

Die Unterkunft ist zentral und gut gelegen. Zwei U-Bahn-Anbindungen fußlĂ€ufig gut erreichbar. Das Foto muss aus lĂ€ngst vergangenen Zeiten stammen. Sonnig-gelbe Kissen etc. gab es nicht, auch keine StĂŒhle wie abgebildet - sondern weiße PlastikstĂŒhle. Das Geschirr war schmuddelig, angeschlagen teilweise, der Geschirrschrank staubig, ein Weinglas war fĂŒr zwei Personen zu wenig. Die Heizung war nicht regulierbar - hier zu warm / nun ja - besser als zu kalt bei Nachtfrösten. Von Fewo-Direkt kannten wir bisher nur top ausgestattete Wohnungen. Schade, dass diese Wohnung den gewohnten Standard nicht bieten konnte. Aber unabhĂ€ngig davon hatten wir schöne Tage in Berlin.
