I stayed here recently and had a very mixed experience. Th location being close to subway stations and the river is good. On my first night at the hotel the property suffered a water leak or other similar plumbing issue which meant that my room had no hot or cold running water. These things happen but I found the staff to be nonchalant about the whole thing. Drinking water was no supplied and no information was shared about when water supplies would be reconnected or where to find alternative shower and toilet facilities. The water was out in my room for about 12 hours. These things happen sometimes but I would expect the staff to be more proactive in communications and offering support and water supplies. The hotel also does not have air conditioning. My room was hot and even though I managed to open a window the location of the hotel beside a busy road meant for a noisy night’s sleep. Not ideal.

Even though this hotel is seemingly outside the main Berlin 'City', I assure that's a good thing. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. You're close to the train and trams, you're close to a really cool boho part of town that's lively and diverse.. close as in a 10-15 min walk. I was out walking very late (coz I got into Berghain.. yeh.. I know. I'm cool now) and I never felt unsafe. Plus you're about a 3 minute walk an awesome 24hr doner kebab van. Great value, good comfort and lovely staff. Perfect.

Would not recommend staying here.

Overall, I think this is an overpriced place and not that clean. My room was on the main road so it was noisy throughout the day if you like to have the window open (there is no air conditioning, so it can get warm if it is not open). There is currently construction going on so it can get noisy because of that and a bit dusty (apparently there has been construction going on for a bit). In terms of cleanliness, at one point I had a fly infestation by my bed, the sheets were stained and the towels smelled funny. The rooms were not cleaned completely when requested and one morning there was no water running, then it took around an hour to come back up again (this was not communicated to us, I had to go to reception to ask what happened). There was one lady at the reception who was very very lovely, but one guy who was not that patient and made my check in and check out feel very rushed. In terms of transport, it's very close to the train station (also about 15 minutes or so away from the airport by train). If you don't mind being a little further out from the central areas then this place is ok. If you do, I'd recommend going a little closer to town. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it. I'd give it a total of 3/10.

Clean and big room with a cute kitchenette with utensils, except washing up liquid and sponge so I had to get that myself. There's a dishwasher and tablets but I only used 1 mug and plate. Walking distance to main train station and 15 minutes to small shopping complex. No air conditioning or fan, it was still quite hot in early September. Towels are becoming thin. I liked it here and would stay again

Not so good hotel in summer.

The room was hot as there was no AC and no fan. Had to keep the window open to get some air inside. The room was facing the railway track and road. I could not sleep a bit because of the constant noise. The least they can do is install a fan if not AC. The bathroom had no storage place to keep the toiletries. Overall, a very minimalist hotel.

Convenient and nice little hotel, shame they didn’t have aircon but honestly it was fine. They have very big windows that open fully and you can request a fan. They also had an iron on request, hairdryer in the room, smart TV with Netflix and shower toiletries. Very good for price.

Very clean, walkable from train station so its very accessible to go anywhere. Lots of food option on the other side of train station. There's a near by "DM" convenient store just across the train station which is passable when going back to The Habyt Tip: book room facing the riverside. It has a nice view, we've got a room facing the cityview but of course mostly youll see and hear trains. But when the windows are closed, its not noisy.

the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and ready early. The location was convenient, a bit off center but very near a s-bahn station that got us everywhere we needed, the only downside is the noise from said station is very loud and prevented us from keeping the window open at night.

Really disappointing stay. The rooms are very hot and noisy. If you’re facing the road, the noise is loud even with the windows shut. The noise from the corridor also carries quite heavily in the room, so you can hear steps from people walking, noises from housekeeping trolley and people talking. The mattress is very thin, and so are the towels. The room amenities are very basic considering the price paid for the room (Almost 200€ for 2 nights) Staff is friendly, although someone entered my room (probably housekeeping, I’m assuming by mistake) at 9am when checkout was at 11am. Hotel is modern, clean and beautifully decorated in the common areas
