I'd rather not be above the bins

Good stuff: breakfast was quite good, room was clean and staff were mostly helpful Not so good: air con didn't really do anything and our room was directly above the bins which was extremely noisy from time to time. There was not much privacy for bathroom facilities.

You get what you pay for. Nothing out of the ordinary about the hotel, but the room was pretty spacious when booked as a single person, though if occupied by 3 people, it may get cramped

Great location but the hotel is a bit of a dump. I think they tried to find things to justify the word ‘budget’ in the name such as decorating rooms like a hospital ward and providing pathetic tiny pillows and wafer thin duvets. Brilliant location though if you don’t intend to spend any time whatsoever in your room.

This would have been a higher rating except I felt like I was sleeping on a board. I paid quite a bit for this room so I think padding that felt like it was an inch thick was unfair. It would take a 1 night booking to put in a real mattress. I saw bad reviews on the hard bed but I thought they were picky - they weren’t - it was horrible. I would have canceled the 2nd night if I hadn’t gone through Expedia. I couldn’t even sightsee the next day because my back hurt so bad. People stay for the purpose of sleeping - the most important thing is a mattress - you don’t have to spend a lot money to get a mattress - this was more like padding.

The location was good. I recommend future customers look at room photos before booking. The room was clean but looked like I was in a hospital room. Staff was nice and the breakfast was good.

Für ein Low Budget Hotel völlig in Ordnung

Wir waren zum Marathon Wochenende dort. Für das was wir bezahlt haben (200€) pro Nacht u Zimmer, waren wir zufrieden. Es war sauber, das Zimmer im 6. Stock im Hinterhof sehr ruhig. Die Betten ok. Man sollte nicht zu viel erwarten, es ist alles minimalistisch eingerichtet aber für unsere 4 Tage völlig ok. Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt aber für 11,50€ ist die Auswahl echt gut man kriegt auch nur einen Kaffee für 2€ Die Location ist perfekt, von hier kommt man überall in kürzester Zeit mit S-Bahn hin oder auch zu Fuß zum Brandenburger Tor ist es nicht weit. Es gibt ein paar gute Restaurants um die Ecke, eine tolle sky Bar gleich hinter dem Hotel, von da hat man einen tollen Ausblick. Die Gegend ist sehr sauber und sicher.
