A great base for Berlin visit. Lobby bar is a lovely place to sit, have a coffee or Negroni. Area is probably better to shopping and some dining but if looking at clubbing, it’s less suitable: Really enjoyed the Hotel, reminded me of Ace in Sydney where I stay often.

Pros: The aesthetic and style was nice, location was decent, staff was kind, breakfast was okay. Cons: The room was hot, the bed was a little uncomfortable but the worst thing was the mattress. It got exposed at some point and the smell was god awful. The mattress smelled like sweat and piss, so did the entire room eventually.

Another stay at The Hoxton. It's a no brainer when I'm in Berlin. Great location, uber stylish with a welcoming public bar area for great beer, coffee and general lounging. Rather disappointed to find the adjacent Indian restaurant was closed. Their breakfasts were next level imaginative. The new age buffet replacement may be somewhat avant garde for traditional full English addicts. An egg option beyond hard boiled might have been some way towards a compromise . I'll probably still be back though.
