Highly recommend!

Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, fantastic decor, location was close to everything you need, didn’t get a chance to eat at the Tandor restaurant but the restaurants nearby were excellent. Property has a great lounge and cafe. We would recommend this hotel any of our friends and family.

Nice hotel but breakfast was poor

6 day trip. Bar was great as were the bar staff. Room good. Breakfast was awful, how i missed the German breakfast buffet... An Indian theme breakfast was OK on the first day, but not on subsequent days and service was slow, impossible to be in/out quickly.

Wonderful stay at the Hoxton - feels clean, fresh and modern! Really loved our stay. Only quib was we had to specifically request the children breakfast bag and children colouring pack as staff didn’t seem aware of these… Also, would be great to have some firmer pillows

Lovely hotel

I stayed here for 5 nights on my trip to Berlin and was absolutely delighted with the hotel. The room was beautiful, everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Excellent location to S-Bahn and U-Bahn and there’s a direct train service (RE8) that runs from the Zoologischer Garten station to the airport which was super convenient.

Poor breakfast

Pleasant hotel but very disappointing breakfast. The menu offered English sausages and secret smokehouse smoked salmon. The sausages were tiny (more like a small Nuernberger sausage) which were completely overcooked. The salmon was definitely not from the secret Smokehouse - as I use this salmon in my own restaurant. The service was very poor as plates were removed while some of us were still Eating. We were also overcharged at the bar but that’s a separate story.

Beautiful design and well equipped hotel. Staff were great and rooms were very well equipped. I had the smaller room for a solo traveller, but it was still the size of a regular hotel room to me, just with a slightly smaller bathroom. The only complaint is food times. I tried twice to get room service and both times it was off (6pm and 10pm) and there's an odd gap in the day 11-12 where they don't serve any food. Also the cardamom toast at breakfast came loaded with half a can of whipped cream, which I didn't like for breakfast. But other than that, a wonderful stay and a really good location.

Everything was first-class, especially the desk staff, who were equally helpful in German and English. Loved the in-room coffee with fresh milk. Next time may try the restaurant — but there are so many great restaurants within walking distance!
