A modern and clean hotel walkable from the main station. The breakfast was simple but with good options. The hotel was under remodeling thus no dining in the hotel but there are plenty of options in the neighborhood. Would definitely go back.

Great location in old town, easy access to train station and all attractions. Good breakfast is included. Small room has A/c, comfortable bed, refrigerator and security box. Stuck in Bern - this hotel and their staff bent over backwards for my wife. Could not have asked for better people. Don't get me wrong, it seems like everyone in Switzerland is awesome, but I had to make this review because of the staff. Alexandra and the rest were great.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and informative and made such a difference in our stay. Amenities were nice to have (laundry, coffee/tea station, breakfast even had a vegan food area, lots of seating provided, self-service locker storage area, cute rooftop terrace). They were renovating while we were there. Definitely recommend this place as it was walking distance to the rail station and main tourist sites. (Hotel was also close to town clocks so be warned you can also hear the town bells clearly if window is open).

Basic room, no tea or coffee facilities inside the room (guests use a communal kitichen), friendly reception staff, improvement works meant breakfast was in the basement which was hot and a little depressing, air con was noisy and didn't seem very effective, convenient location for train station and old town.

I had to rebook a night due to a medical issues and the GM refused to give any flexibility. I even showed up the next day and had to “Wait” to check one into the room I paid for the night before. Very inflexible and not very helpful. I would not recommend.

The receptionist was great, she gave us all the information we needed for our various plans. The air conditioning does not work and sleeping was very uncomfortable. The windows do open, but it is on a busy street with multiple partiers walking by and talking loudly. I would not stay here in the summer again.
