As someone who travels a lot, I can definitely say that this hotel doesn't qualify as a 4-star hotel. It's actually a 3-star hotel by all standards. The sink looks normal-sized in the photo, but in reality, it's so small that even a small person can't even wash their hands without splashing water all over themselves.

Loved this property for our first trip to Bern! The staff was very friendly, and the decor was super adorable. Very easy walking distance to everything in the old town, safe, clean, and the beds were very comfortable too. The showerhead was the most massive showerhead I’ve ever seen in a bathroom and it felt amazing.
