Nearby activities : The most popular mudflat walk on the North Sea runs from Neßmersiel to the North Sea island of Baltrum. The mudflats are easy to walk on this stretch, often you can even walk barefoot. After about 2.5 hours you already reach your destination, after a walk of more than 6 kilometres on the seabed. On Baltrum, you stroll through the small island village before taking the ferry back to Neßmersiel at high tide, passing a large seal bank.
Or you can visit the seal station in Norddeich.
