The host hamlet of Beal offers a charming starting point for exploring the scenic Northumberland Coast National Landscape, with the famous Holy Island of Lindisfarne awaiting just 5 miles away. Access the tidal island by either walking the Pilgrim’s Way across the sands or crossing the causeway. Popular Bamburgh (11 miles) offers a wealth of places to eat and drink as well as a golden beach and a landmark castle, providing a fascinating insight into the region’s history. Alternatively, head inland to the Ford and Etal Estate to explore Etal Castle, ride on the light railway, or discover the mill complex (all within 10 miles).
Step up onto the wraparound decking of this wood-clad lodge, and before you head inside, take a moment to appreciate its peaceful position surrounded by greenery. Enter the property and uncover a welcoming open-plan living space with wood-panelled walls, curved ceilings and plenty of natural light flowing through the windows. Unwind in the lounge space after days of adventure; sink into the sofa and catch your favourite shows on the Smart TV. When stomachs rumble, the corner kitchen boasts everything needed for cooking up holiday meals or prepping picnics for the day ahead – enjoy the chef’s work at the circular dining table inside or eat alfresco out on the decking.
