Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed, Pull Out Single (3ft) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally.. Enclosed garden and patio (shared with owner). On road parking; Public car park 100 mtrs. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the garden.. Just a few short steps from the Spittal Beach, just outside the centre of Berwick upon Tweed is this ideal home away from home for small family or couple. Whiteadder Cottage is a lower apartment which ideally sleeps three people however in the second of the two bedrooms has a single bed with a pull-out single underneath which can make either twin or a larger double. The larger of the bedrooms has a double bed. The living space is open plan, a favourite of people on holiday as it allows the keeping an eye on the kids, enjoying a chat while someone prepares meals and snacks. With a wood burner for those chilly evenings this space is the ideal place to relax after a day’s exploring. Both the kitchen and bathroom were recently installed and have been well finished. The kitchen has all the appliances you’ll need in addition to crockery, glassware and utensils. If you’re not walking along or enjoying some time on the beach, then the enclosed back garden is a pleasant sunny space where guests can enjoy the tranquil space among the plants behind a private wall - ideal if it’s a bit blowy outside.
As mentioned, Spittal is on the outskirts of Berwick Town centre. With one of the area’s best beaches for families and walking it’s a nice seaside destination. With the historic town and nice walk along the shore and over the bridge where you’ll find the cafés, bars, restaurants and shops; the place has more than enough for everyone. Guests who want to explore a little further afield will be surprised at how little time it takes to get to Edinburgh or Newcastle for days out. Beach within 1 mile. Pub and restuarant 704 yards.
