4th of July weekend

Clean large 3 bedroom upstairs apartment. My wife and our dog stayed for 3 days. We had a wonderful stay close to my niece’s house a few blocks away.

1) Key not in lock box on arrival near MN. Unable have contact with owner until the next AM. Had to get a hotel room.2) No hot water for 24 hours of the stay.3) charged for pre-existing cabinet damage that we brought to the owner’s attention.

Nice place, a couple negatives

Nicely remodeled upstairs apartment.A couple points for improvement. Kitchen needs more counter space, perhaps a larger table or roll out cart to the left of the sink. Bathtub could use a couple anti-slip devices or mat. Note to other guests, The apartment is along US 2 so can be some road noise in morning. And the stairs to enter the apartment is an old style that fans the treads around a corner. Very small tread on the inside corner and wider on the outside corner. Can be tricky carrying bags or in big boots. But otherwise a nice place. I’d stay again.

Lovely Stay

This apartment was a great spot to serve as home base for our UP ski vacation (2 adults, 2 kids and a dog). Very convenient location. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Check in was easy the apartment was clean and cozy. We'd certainly return next time we're up there.
