Bad start - Good finish
The owner does not stay in Biarritz. You have to phone a lady who then gives you the phone number of another lady you have to phone and arrange for her to meet you at the entrance with the keys, etc.
The address given is wrong. The actual address is round the corner on another street so it was difficult to find. The blurb mentions a swimming pool. This is actually in the neighbouring hotel and costs €50 for use of the pool. The private parking is good but not 200 metres but nearer 500 metres away. (Measured using the scale on the map I collected from the Tourist Office). In the apartment the electric socket was hanging off the wall so dangerous to use. The light above the cooking hob did not work making food preparation difficult. The balcony area wasn’t clean and a bit neglected. We had to clean old bird droppings off the balcony rail.
Apart from that it was good. The lady who met us with the keys, Corrine, was very pleasant and helpful. Make sure she takes you to the car parking and shows where cars enter and exit. Likewise pedestrians.
