The room didn’t have a working heater so we spend a very cold night, my 9 year old daughter was freezing at 59 degrees inside the room, the issue was reported but maintenance department was unable to fix it

The staff was very rude. Especially the people at the front desk who kept rolling their eyes while talking to us. Our room was very hot and the thermostat wasn't working. We called service to come help, but they never came and ignored our request. During breakfast in addition to the expensive price, there was also a sur-charge for eggs. We also asked for a late checkout, but our request was again ignored. This experience was not isolated since we heard other guests complaining about it to the front desk, but they were yet again ALSO ignored. Overall, our stay was horrible and I do not recommend this place.

Very disappointed

Very very disappointed to say we booked to rooms and there were also another 2 rooms our friends booked. They were all filthy. We walked into our room to see some ladies used pants this was supposedly after the room was cleaned! I checked and all room heaters were not working properly. Also non of the filters were changed maybe in years( no exaggeration. Room numbers 302 325 311 306 we were 4 families celebrating 2 special birthdays. I wish I took pictures of the lobby complimentary tea coffee area. Thank you but at least wipe the area. So messy and dirty. Everything is unsanitary!!! They should check the hotel from corporate!

Coffee at the front lobby was always empty, our room on the top floor was literally boiling hot so we had to change to the bottom level, even then it was hot and the ac hardly worked. Someone stole my jacket I left at the game room which is surprising being in big bear I would assume that would happen in LA.

Really enjoyed my time here. The rooms were nice with a fireplace, microwave, and fridge inside. The gym has a sauna. There was an arcade with a pool table. Restaurant had good food. Was walking distance to the street with shops, restaurants and bars. Overall great time!

At 1:30am someone walked into our room while we were sleeping. It was so scary! The front desk said they had their computers down so they gave our room to someone checking in. Unbelievable to say the least. It was so scary

Great Location and Comfortable Stay, but Some Improvements Needed Our stay at Big Bear Lodge was overall enjoyable. The location is fantastic—close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms were spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable, and we got a great night’s sleep. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. It would be nice if the rooms had bathrobes for added comfort. Upon check-in, we weren’t given our breakfast vouchers and had to ask for them the next morning. Additionally, the “prepaid” breakfast was misleading, as it only provided a $12 discount rather than covering the full meal cost—something that wasn’t explained to us in advance. Another small but important detail: the coffee and tea bar should be better stocked, especially in the mornings. There was always something missing, whether it was sugar, hot water, tea bags, or coffee. One major highlight of our stay was the helpful maintenance staff. We had issues with our tire chains and ended up stuck in the driveway. Thankfully, the maintenance guy came to the rescue and helped us get out of the situation-he was incredibly kind and helpful! Despite these minor issues, we had a pleasant stay.

Check in lady was super nice and helpful. There was another worker who if don’t want to name because I don’t like risking people’s jobs. I went to get change from him since the arcade machines were both not working and gave 3 big sighs like I was inconveniencing him. Most arcade games didn’t works and that’s one big reason we stayed there. Also it was so hot in the room and even with the AC on full blast and window fully open it was still too hot!!!
