One of the home's best features is its direct access to the Madison Base Area, making it especially convenient for families with children enrolled in ski school.

Ski Out: Step out of the downstairs ski room and you'll find the ski bridge just 20 feet from the home. Cross the bridge and descend onto Smithy, a green run. Stay on Smithy until you reach the skier bridge, where you'll make a sharp right and continue onto Natawista. Follow Natawista until it merges with Cinnabar, the main trail leading to Madison Base. From there, you'll have easy access to both the Six Shooter Lift and the high-speed Madison 8 Lift.

Ski In: Return to the home via Powder River, a blue run accessed from the Iron Horse Lift, or from Lazy Jack, a green run that connects to the Powder River access route from the Madison 8 Lift. Follow Powder River until you reach the skier tunnel on the left side of the run. Continue past the first right-hand skier bridge, then take the second right onto Natawista. Stay on Natawista, taking the first left to remain on the trail. Cross the skier bridge and make a hard right to continue on Natawista. Just before the pair of adjacent skier bridges, you'll find the access trail that leads directly back to the home. We recommend referencing the Big Sky trail map on your first day to familiarize yourself with the ski-in route.
