Welcome to Hawberry Haven - your peaceful summer escape just minutes from the hamlet of Kagawong and Bridal Veil Falls. Our calendar just opened for the 2026 season!

Tucked away on a quiet, private location on Mudge Bay, our family cottage is the kind of place where days slow down and memories come easy. Whether you're a family looking for beach days and campfires, or a couple craving calm water and sunset views, Hawberry Haven is designed for relaxed, feel-good stays.

Spend your mornings swimming from the beautiful, walk-in beach, floating on an inflatable swimming float or by enjoying the beautiful lake view from the comfort of your swinging chair. There are kayak, paddle board, tube and canoe rentals available minutes away for you to explore the waters as well. Or you may prefer to cast a line from the nearby marina in Kagawong. When the sun dips low, unwind on a blanket or sit back in the Adirondack chairs for golden-hour views or gather around the fire pit for s'mores under the stars.

Inside, the cottage is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked-ideal for families and couples alike. Enjoy bug-free evenings in the cottage, with air-conditioned comfort on warm nights, and everything you need to feel right at home.

We're a three-season cottage, and dates do fill quickly-if you're dreaming of a laid-back lake getaway, we'd love to host you!

** Rentals are by the week only during peak season. Check in is 4pm and check out is by 11am. A one week rental is 6 nights. No early check ins and no late check outs.

**Linens include bedsheets, kitchen and bath towels. You need to provide your own beach towels. We provide enough wood for an initial fire. More wood can be purchased at the Esso nearby.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Old Mill Heritage Centre Museum.
