Cons: Very strong carpet/bathroom cleaner and/or air freshener smell in lobby. Room smelled moldy. Bed was uncomfortable, felt like sofa bed mattress. Hot water in shower was “warm” at best. Didn’t use the pool but it looked inviting. Our room 401 was newly redecorated with fresh paint, carpet, modern lighting and was clean throughout. Tub was dated. Across the street from the Gulf of MEXICO. No complimentary breakfast but they did offer a cooked to order from the menu for a fee. I would definitely stay here again. 9/18/25 for 3 nights.

I have enjoyed better stays at La Quinta for far less and they include breakfast. This is not what I expected when I booked a Marriott hotel. I was very disappointed with this hotel. My wife asked me to book a different hotel once we arrived but I didn’t want to lose the money I paid for our room
