Needs one tweak to be great for the money

Everything was good, the place was pristine. The only problem we had was with the blankets, or lack of them. Beds were furnished with a sheet and a so thin you could see through it "comforter". We actually tired to book here again and were going to bring out our blankets but there wasn't availability due to a cheerleading competition in town.

Enjoyable hotel with minor issues

While I did enjoy my night at Microtel and would definitely recommend it, there are a few minor grievances that I have. The first one was that I felt that our room had the lingering spell of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking hotel. We kept our room window open for a few hours in the afternoon and it seemed to alleviate the smell, so we thought all was good. However, upon getting ready the next morning, we noticed the smell came back. It’s definitely something that should be looked into. The second one, and it’s a bit more minor, is that the hotel had zero non-dairy alternatives for milk, which greatly limited what was available for breakfast for those of us, like me, with dairy allergies. For how new the property is, this seems like a very weird omission to have. Otherwise, we greatly enjoyed the stay. If we are in Binghamton again, we will likely stay here again.

We are happy with our weekend stay, but would've appreciated it if the charging stations and outlets in our room all worked. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly.

Was a comfortable stay slept well. Very nice room. Had some trouble with the television cable cutting out every 10 seconds and coming back on and cutting out. The clerk at front desk very helpful. The GPS did have trouble with finding the location it was out in the middle of the road.

Checkout questionable

Hotel was clean and comfortable. When checking out I asked for a receipt printed out and was told he couldn't do that. It's the first time I haven't been able to get a receipt.
