Welcome to Forest Cottage, a peaceful bush retreat just outside Cooma - the perfect base for exploring the Snowy Mountains during the winter season.

Set on a private, wooded block with native wildlife all around, the cottage offers a warm and restful escape after a day in the snow. Kangaroos graze nearby, wombats occasionally waddle past, and at night, the clear alpine sky puts on a spectacular display of stars.

Less than 10 minutes from Cooma and around 1 hour 20 minutes to Thredbo, Perisher, and Mt Selwyn, Forest Cottage is ideally positioned for both serious ski trips and casual snow play.
When conditions are right, Cooma itself can experience light snowfalls, adding to the alpine experience.

After your day on the slopes, return to the comfort of the cottage- prepare a meal in the kitchen, unwind with a book or netflix, or just enjoy the quiet.
