The bed was dirty - hair visible on it. Front desk was notified and they said they would make a note of it. We drove the hour and a half back home rather than staying in dirty quarters.

This is a prime location. Carpet/paint might make a huge difference. If they cater to UAB patients perhaps they could get funding to upgrade. I think there is only one person on staff at night.

Thermostat didn't work in room, air conditioner/heater did not work. When air did come out it was unbelievably noisy. Mattress needs updating - rolling to one side due to worn spot.

Horrible customer service

Pool was green. Maids knocked 8am beating on door. To add a guest name to room is $22 for Husband to check in who beat me there. Was hung up on by reception. Will never return.

This particular Hampton Inn is rundown and out of date. Maintenance is not being performed. Of the two elevators only one worked and on one occasion none of them worked. We were forced to use the stairs. It is terribly overpriced. It is obvious that the owners of this property are not willing to make an investment in improvement. The receptionist could not locate my reservation, even though I had a printed copy from Expedia. It is not what you would expect when renting a room at the Hampton Inn.

This hotel was sort of a disaster. The elevator did not work. The bathroom smelled horrible. The toilet paper holder was broken. The ladies at the front desk at check in were not very friendly. It felt very dirty.

This hotel property badly needs to be renovated. The carpeting was stained, room had a smell to it and was an overall sub-par experience. This is easily the worst condition of a hotel I have ever been to. Check in staff was nice & polite though.
