Staff was friendly and great! I loved the room and bathroom, and if you happen to forget your soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion they provide Dove products. The only issue we had was the limited parking after dark, but other than that it was a great stay!

Good location but…

Clean hotel in a nice location. Unfortunately, lots of noise due to some kind of sorority function or other. Also, the hotel needs more luggage carts given the number of guests staying at this location.

I was next to a man beating his wife. 5 police showed up while I was hiding in the bathroom with 911 on the phone. The police personally escorted me out for my safety and recommended me staying somewhere else. I went around the corner to the Hyatt all around 9pm. I went back days later to get a refund and the hotel would not refund my stay. They said they did not have the police report...really!

I was traveling alone and wanted something clean and safe. I felt safe and the hotel was nice and clean. It has been renovated recently and everything was very impressive. I am traveling back to Birmingham in the near future and plan on staying here again.
