Great, central location. Valet drivers were friendly and it was easy to get to and from the hotel. The rooms did the job, but this is an older hotel and could do with some renovations. There aren't any usb ports so make sure you have a cube! Only one side of the bed had a plug, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the old elevators make a lot of noise and we could hear these during the night. Good for a basic hotel, without any frills.

Ehhhh won’t be back

The most popping rooftop in Birmingham… you take that as you’d like to. Rooms are in need of an update. There’s like one power outlet in the whole room, no towel rods or hooks near shower. No fridge or cool box. No smart TV. Carpet and wallpaper peeling. Staff was nice and overnight valet is great.

Cool hotel. Room was nice and the bed was just right. All the staff there were kind and helpful. Got shrimp n grits at breakfast, divine. Great coffee, too. The hotel is three blocks from restaurants and bars, easy to walk to. Easy to get a Lyft to/from Coca-Cola Amphitheater. Can walk to/from Amphitheater, just go straight up Richard Arrington Blvd N. Everyone we encountered in Birmingham at the hotel, restaurants, and Amphitheater were so nice! I look forward to going again sometime.

The staff is excellent and friendly and I wouldn’t want to harm a place of business where they’re so nice. On the plus side, friendly staff and very convenient to attractions and the Coca Cola Amphitheater. But the negatives are real, and people should realize the surrounding area is deserted and feels unsafe with many unsavory characters outside at all hours of the day and night. Also, when we checked in they tried to give us a room (311 I believe) that was literally like a closet. It had no windows. Is that even legal? They switched us to a far nicer room on the 9th floor when I requested a room with a window, but even the nicer room wasn’t very nice. The elevator makes a horrible noise, and we could hear it all night from our room, and the carpet and decor were just shabby. Again, very nice staff and nothing against them, but I would look elsewhere if I had it to do again.

Some rooms don’t have AC

Some of the rooms don’t have AC. The description says they all do. They all do not. If you’re lucky you will get a room with AC if not they might say “maintenance is coming to look at” but they aren’t coming. We demanded a different room and fortunately they were amenable. Our new room was much better.

Hotel was fine-looks to be an older building that’s been updated. Common areas were a little unkept. Minor room things I noted: room AC did not feel like it ever really cooled off, he bathroom sink faucet never heated up warm water & there’s only 2 pillows on each full size bed. Overall, since it was a quick trip, so it was fine. Front desk staff was warm.

Wedding in Birmingham

The room was very comfortable. We had a corner room with bedroom separated from separate seating area by a hallway which housed closets and coffee station. The bathroom had a large shower with rain type shower head. The only negative was no towel bar and water pressure was a little low. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The valet service for car was prompt.
