Host cancelled with poor communication

Host cancelled on the day and left me having to spend a lot of the time on the phone to customer services to confirm what was happening. The host did not properly communicate with me and this should have been cancelled from their side rather than wasting my time.I also suspect the reason the host gave to cancel was made up.
