Clean and spacious room, very comfortable bed and good shower too. A little noisy in the evenings but quietens down around 10.
The perfect inn/pub vibe if that is what you’re looking for! Staff was so helpful and friendly with everything. Room was just what we needed for a night. Not a whole lot to do in the area but there is a pub right downstairs and down the road. Parking onsite was a plus
Lou and her team were so helpful,caring and accommodating.All the staff were great,a big thank you to Emma .
The locals in the bar below the guest rooms were very friendly.
Looking forward to returning,when next in the area.

Pretty run down and basic. Bathrooms were the most updated part, but think plaster board, a toilet seat they kept falling off.
Zero service - bedsheet had not even been tucked in. No kettle, no fan. The only good point was that the manager did give us a quiet room away from the noisy main road. We chose because of the free onsite parking - but only about 10 spaces you need to arrive outside of pub hours. We left 2 days early,
Check in was quick and straightforward. Room was clean and tidy albeit basic. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was very slow to arrive. Ordered at 8.00 served to table an hour later and we were the only customers for over 30 minutes. Hotel needs to be aware bringing a pot of tea and telling us to share with the table next to us is not acceptable. Neither is sugar in a take a way container and milk in Bisto gravy jug and again we had to share.
The staff are absolutely amazing, very welcoming and friendly. There are no coffee making facilities in the room but if you ask at the bar they will bring you a fresh cuppa up to your room.
Nice comfortable bed but could be better with a kettle in the room.

The checking via the public bar was a long wait while they served drinks it was noisy so difficult ti hear the room was so tiny no matres protector no hospitality tray not even a bottle of water the window blind was broken and had holes in it the shower door was hanging off my husband fixed this the room was clean and nice clean towels it was lacking in basics a mirror at a dressing table was to low and no seat provided so you could see in said mirror Iwould not stay here again did not sleep well due to noise from outside and having to have the window open due to the heat also as we could not park on their car park I was worried about the safety of our car. Not being able to make a drink in the morning and not having facilities on site to get a drink is really bad . One couple had ordered breakfasts which were not provided they had a 2and half hour journey home ours was 1 hour.

The Room is Definitely Value for money it’s a Nice Cosy room I’ve even Booked for another night’
I had a Meal here I had the Mixed Grill’ a Great Meal I’m having Such a lovely Stay here it’s also a Great location..
I’m Glad I found this little Gem..

Whilst I appreciate the hotel is not expensive, it was lacking in several areas. Arrived around 6 p.m. on a particularly warm day only to find there was no hot water for a much needed shower. The room was small and very poorly ventilated. The window overlooked the high Street, which made it very noisy. There were no curtains, only a malfunctioning blackout blind. There was no kettle or other tea making facilities for the morning, all of which made for a very uncomfortable stay.
Having said all that the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
