Be Cautious
Title: Sleek Apartment with Unfortunate Post-Stay Surprises
The apartment is equipped with modern furniture and comfy beds which was initially promising. Towels were conveniently provided, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with all the necessary appliances. However, not everything was up to par. The bedroom had a visibly cracked window and the floor was heavily stained, which was off-putting.
Access to the building was a hassle due to the absence of an entry fob. Guests had to call an intercom number for entry, which was quite inconvenient and detracted from the feeling of independence during our stay.
The most significant downside came after our departure. We faced a £125 charge for a loose handle on the microwave—a microwave we never used. Despite our honest communication with the agency, our explanation was not accepted.
Given the competitive pricing, I had hoped for a value-for-money stay, but the post-stay charge left a bitter taste. For those considering a stay here, I’d advise caution. It seems unexpected charges are a risk, potentially offsetting any initial savings. To avoid such surprises, it might be wiser to consider other accommodations where the pricing is upfront and the risk of post-stay charges is less of a concern.
