Just a few hundred meters from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood, we offer a lovely 140m² house that can accommodate up to 5 people. It's ideal for a week or longer stay with family or friends. The beach is within walking distance, and bike paths allow you to explore our region. The location is ideal for a car-free vacation. You can walk to the market, take your surf lesson with Andy, or enjoy a coffee on the terrace, all within a radius of about 500 meters from the house. The house features a veranda with a cocktail lounge, a living room with a TV and Wi-Fi, and a separate, fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.).
Three bedrooms are available, including a master suite (bedding replaced in April 2025). A bathroom and a separate toilet are also available for added comfort. There is also a second living room equipped with a TV, a pool table, and a covered terrace for enjoying evenings with your family. Outside, a garden surrounds the house with patio furniture for enjoying your meals. A space has also been created to store your surfboards and hang out your wetsuits. Parking is available in front of or within the property.
Regarding surfing: Andy has been teaching surfing for 35 years and invites you to come and enjoy the joys of riding the waves safely during personalized private sessions. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, he will coach you from the house. Benefit from his experience and learn all about swimming, currents, wave formation, and tides. Understanding these parameters is essential for choosing the best surf spot and allows you to discover the ocean while surfing. A surfboard and wetsuit are provided, and you can rent them for surfing outside of lessons. (Quote upon request)
Regarding the boat service (photo not contractual): Explore the Arcachon Bay aboard the FOAMSTAND, a 6-meter boat for 5 people with a 115 hp Yamaha engine. Discovering Bird Island with its famous Thanques cabins, as well as the tip of Cap Ferret, the Banc d'Arguin, and the Dune du Pyla, makes for an exceptional day. A sea or coastal license is required. A stone's throw from the Dune du Pyla, at the gates of the wide Landes Ocean beaches, you can choose to take advantage of the 220 km of cycle paths, discover the Basin by boat, practice or learn to surf, fly over the Dune in a paraglider, multiply the golf courses, all while tasting the wines and oysters of the region.
