Disliked: Cleanliness
A Very Disappointing 8 Nights Stay
POSITIVE:
- Location good
- Heating worked
- TV and Wi-Fi worked
NEGATIVE:
- washer worked but only if you lifted and adjusted the door so it closed properly
- no written or email instructions on the washing machine operation or for any other appliances were provided
- given the wrong set of keys originally having to go back to pickup location)
- master bath shower temperature could not be controlled. The water was extremely hot. After the manager called in maintenance following our complaint it was set too cold and still coul not be adjusted and Ned’s to be replaced. Also the shower walls were moldy, even after a cleaner was sent in to scrub the tiles. So we couldn’t use this shower our entire 8 night stay.
- very dirty in the entire apartment, including a leftover sock from a prior tenant left on the floor beside the couch
- we found cobwebs in the master closet, cupboards & throughout the apartment
- no lamp shades were provided except for the 2nd bedroom and this one was torn
- previous tenant’s mail was piled on a table
- 3 pans in the kitchen were unusable (dirty & can’t be cleaned to be used). The remaining pans worked but were not large enough for 3 people to make dinner
- freezer was in dire need of defrosting and the refrigerator was overflowing with water emptying into trays below the vegetable bins last 2 days
- all issues were raised with the manager and we have photos for all these items
