The staff was courteous. The breakfast was good. The breakfast room was nice and clean. The attendants were friendly.
But, when we checked in we were automatically charged a $100 security deposit against our card we used and when asked about it we were told it was for if there was any damages to the room. And when we check out they would refund it against the card. We knew nothing about this deposit nor did the front desk say anything. It was when we were talking to other guests and then checked our account that we saw the charge.
Our room and bathroom was clean and our bedding was clean. The room itself was very dated and the carpeting definitely needs replaced. The room door was horrible. Was a wooden door and did not close good. So had to slam it to completely close it. We had to work at getting the bolt lock to lock. We never had to use the room key for either outside doors. You could just pull it and they opened up. We will NEVER stay there again.
