Thoughtfully updated and surrounded by nature, this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom cabin is the perfect retreat for those seeking peace, connection, and a touch of adventure. Cozy up by one of our 3 fireplaces! Wood burning in the living room (we provide firewood) an electric stove in the dining room and the last is in the large bedroom downstairs.

Step onto the spacious front porch, where Adirondack chairs and a full dining table invite you to sip coffee at sunrise or share a candlelit dinner under the stars. Inside, you’ll find a warm and welcoming living space with plush seating, a Roku TV, and a small workspace for those moments when you need to check in with the world—before returning to mountain serenity.

The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to cook romantic meals at home, and the back deck offers even more privacy, with forest views and a propane grill for easy outdoor dining.

The main level features the inviting living area, kitchen, a convenient half bath, and the charming Bear Room, perfect for extra guests or little ones with 2 Twin Beds. Downstairs, unwind in the King Suite, or cozy up in the second bedroom featuring both a queen and a twin bed—ideal for couples traveling with friends or family. A full bath with a double vanity and tub/shower combo, plus a laundry area, complete the lower level.

In the front yard, gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows, share a bottle of wine, and watch the stars emerge over the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Just minutes from downtown Black Mountain, Ursa Minor offers the best of both worlds—a peaceful wooded retreat with easy access to charming shops, restaurants, hiking trails, and nearby Asheville attractions.

**Please Note** The stairs to the lower level are very steep. This is not ideal for young children, people with mobility issues, or geriatric pets. We have a gate at the top of the steps to help limit access. Please be prepared to use caution.
We are located near to I-40 and this mean there is some white noise while you are outside.

As a guest of this cabin, you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
