Freilinger See: The area around the Freilinger See lake is a special leisure and recreation area in the municipality of Blankenheim. The area around Lake Freilingen offers ideal opportunities for hiking or just walking. A forest nature trail gives visitors and observers an insight into the deciduous and coniferous tree species found here, surrounded by extensive forests, Lake Freilingen offers windsurfing, diving, rowing, canoeing, beach fishing, sport fishing, mini golf, attractive barbecue huts and a sunbathing lawn. There is also a dog area. The barbecue huts can be booked by groups from the municipality of Blankenheim.
