This is a beautiful house, apparently built for the owner’s mother-in-law; It’s tastefully decorated and more than spacious. The master bedroom bath has three separate sections, including a shower with bars and a pebbled non-stick floor, great for a senior like me. The lake views. with swans, were scenic and peaceful. The house has several sliding doors and a wraparound deck with lake views. Since this house is part of Chetola Resort, there is a road across the lake which provides a little traffic noise, but you can’t hear it inside. Parking on the side driveway was too far from the door if you’re carrying luggage, so we parked on the side of the road which was wide enough for occasional cars to pass. Since this house is at the end of the main road, there is very little traffic. Since we were Chetola guests, we could take advantage of all ther resort amenities, including their spa, pool and fitness room. Unforunately, the Timberlake restaurant was closed for renovationsl Since the host is the resort itself, the front desk takes care of any questions or problems. We did have trouble adjusting the thermostat because it seemed to be programmed in some way. All in all, we really liked this house and would happily rent it again..
