Cozy Mountain Cabin close to everything you need

We are a family of 6 with 4 kids between 15-21 all of whom are elite distance runners so our plan was to explore the running trails in high altitude in the cool mountain pre-summer climate. This house was the perfect location for us as most of the best trails were accessed via the Blue Ridge parkway which is just 7-8 minutes drive from this house. Downtown Boone was also close, about 10-12 minutes away and made for easy access to everything we need. The 4 kids all stayed in the bunk room (set of bunks with 4 beds total), grandma stayed in the second King and my wife and I stayed on the main floor master King which was super nice. The cabin had a quaint, cozy cabin feel with warm furnishing features but also without all the cheesy typical mountain things you see in many cabins. We cooked all our breakfasts and dinners here as well which was easy with all the necessary kitchen supplies. The decks are great as well! Plenty of rocking chair time with lots of decks to choose from. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Mountain House!

All I can say is Wow! This is one of the nicest homes I've ever stayed in through VRBO. The home was extremely clean and well put together. They thought of every little detail to make the home comfortable and inviting. The kids loved the downstairs game room and the bunk room (with lights on the bunk bed)! We all loved the fire table and hot tub. All of the beds were comfortable and the Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The hosts were very quick to respond and very accommodating. Great location too...very close to anything you need in Blowing Rock. We highly recommend this home and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
