Outdoor enthusiast dream. Cozy cabin with seasonal mountain views. Main level has kitchen, full bathroom, living room, dining area and screened porch. Lower level contains 1 bedroom with king bed, half bath and screened porch. Upper level has 1 bedroom with queen bed (no door) a loft area with two twin beds and a screened porch. Outdoor area has deck with grill, wooded private lot and oversized firepit.
Blue Ridge is considered the state's trout fishing capital. The cabin is located less than 15 miles from downtown Blue Ridge which has several award winning restaurants, high end shopping, breweries, wineries, Blue Ridge railway and railbike and Lake Blue Ridge. Near the town of Suches with the Chattahoochee Forest National Fish Hatchery. A few miles to Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, Blue Ridge Witch, Aska recreational area, Shallowford bridge, tubing and 1 mile from Sandy Bottoms launch area on Toccoa River and near the Chattahoochee National Forrest and Benton MacKaye Trail.

Nice comfortable cabin off the beaten path in wooded area. A couple other cabins on this mountain side but plenty distance between to not even know they are there. Seen deer and other wildlife nearly every day from the back porch. Pet friendly area. It was a nice stay.

We loved the cabin experience. Enjoyed a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant, then a nice fire back at the cabin in the fire pit. My granddaughter enjoyed one of the hammocks. Nice, cool weather. Having a coffee maker and Keurig was a nice extra. Host was kind and quick to reply. Enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch the next morning, listening to nature.

Just an okay cabin, nothing fancy

I stayed at this property for 4-days. The house is located not too far from the main road but the interior road may be a bit hard to negotiate depending on the weather and if you don’t have an AWD vehicle, or have a very large SUV (road is on the narrow side). Typical cabin in the woods - there’s nothing fancy about the cabin. It is not for people with mobility issues - not ADA compliant, and it is not open concept - living space is divided among three floors. Stairwells are steep and narrow. It is on the dark side once you’re inside, but kind of cozy with its low light at night. Here are some items to be aware of: gravel driveway needs improvement. Lighting, especially outside, is needed. Wi-fi camera located at the exterior of the entrance records your comings and goings - and footage is definitely reviewed by the owner. The master bedroom downstairs is missing shades on glass door and window - not too private. Upstairs bedroom is not built for older people or people with mobility issues. There’s no bathroom on this floor. Overall, the property was okay, nothing extravagant. It is just a cabin with its space divided among three floors. It may be good for a young couple, a couple with teenagers, but not a young couple with small kids because the bedrooms are very distant and there’s no bathroom at the top. Not suitable for an older couple with mobility issues due to the steep stairs and the lack of a ramp outside. For these reasons, I’m not planning to rent this house again

Great A frame cabin. I will rent it again

Unbelievable experience I had last weekend! I stayed in this cabin for 2 days and wish I rented it the whole week. It’s completely furnished with dishes, all appliances, coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, big screen tv, WI-FI, big beds on the bottom floor and top floor, twin beds for guests as well on the top floor, and much more! Also, I had great reception way up here in the mountains. Text messages went through and I could also work on my laptop when I needed to. The wildlife was another reason I will rent this cabin again! A great Horned Owl was gliding around branch to beach Saturday night. It was awesome to see it! Thank you, Lisa, for an awesome weekend

Great little cabin

Really great little cabin with lots of charm. Plenty of room for our group of 5, and thoughtfully set up for guests of all ages. The fire pit area in the woods had a path that was illuminated with solar lights which was a really nice touch, and the whole property was spacious and private. Looking forward to our next stay.

The door leading down the narrow and slippery stairs the handle came off causing her to fall down the stairs. She hurt her back and her butt. We had to cancel all the hikes and sightseeing.

18 th Birthday trip

The cabin was as described and it was nice a little quirky but nice. It had enough beds and baths for our family trip for my daughter's 18th birthday. The cabin is in a quite location but there is a store 4 minutes away that has great food and where you can get items for your stay. The directions say you may lose GPS to locate the cabin but I never did so it was very easy to find. We would stay again as the price was great for what you get from the cabin. Stairs are a little steep going up to the loft and down to the main bedroom but we never had any issues. Very cute private and definitely nice. The only thing that's missing is a dryer for wet clothes doing river activities.

wouldnt stay again

first night- couldn't get the heat to work and had to call. Had to go out and purchase blankets because it was so cold down stairs. The extra blankets they had, smelled extremely musty and weren't usable. The bathroom downstairs had wall panels missing and the bathroom under stairs constantly had a problem flushing and water would hit the rim. You could tell that they had water problems in the bathroom and def have mold around the toliet. My asthmatic child had trouble staying in the cabin because of the mold. Cabin is extremely dark inside with no adequate lighting, esp in the living area. Bed downstairs was like sleeping on a piece of wood.

Nice but Dirty

First, this priority is beautiful! It is well decorated and carved into the mountains. It was a passion project for someone. If you have children it is a very cool design house. With that said, we arrived the trash cans were overflowing out the front door. Now looking back, that was probably a big red sign. Next the house was tidy but it had not been cleaned. Examples include: - The floors had not been vacuumed. - There was a dirty towel left in the shower. - There was a LARGE clump of hair stuck to the side of the mirror. - There were game pieces on the floor still. - A large dog with white hair must have stayed prior because there was literally hair EVERYWHERE. - There were pots put away with food still on them. I like the automated follow up with text messages from the management company but it really lacks luster to someone actually overseeing the priority. Someone got back to us Friday evening, a full day after being there, to come back on Saturday to clean again. Also the priority is 25 minutes away from anything. There are two little restaurants within 5 miles but it is pretty remote. Again, it is lovely. We have always used a different service and decided to try Vrbo. We heard it was so much nicer. However that was not our experience. We will not be back.

Nice and quite stay.

Very nice and quiet location. It was a relaxing time. I just wish the cleaning service had done a better job before our arrival. The kitchen smelled like it had old potato's hidden and our bed sheets were not completely dry and they smell moldy. Other than that, it was an amazing A-frame cabin.
