We are 15 minutes from Mercier Orchards, a must-visit Blue Ridge destination. Continue down the highway a few more minutes to reach the picturesque downtown passing the convenient Walmart Supercenter along the way. The main level features a grand entrance with a 30-foot ceiling. In the living room, a striking tiled gas fireplace with a 75” TV overhead serves as the centerpiece. The two-story wall of windows allows mountain views, so much natural light, and a view to the stars at night - right from the comfort of the large sectional sofa. The dining area seats eight comfortably around a live-edge table. The kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook, equipped with a pot filler, hands-free faucet, and a 36” gas range. We love the walk-in pantry with countertop space perfect for a dedicated coffee station.

The primary suite includes a king bed, dramatic vaulted ceilings, a 75” TV above the electric fireplace, and a spa-style private bath with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. An office on this level can host additional guests with a queen-sized inflatable mattress. You’ll also find a custom full bathroom decorated with thousands of black river rocks—a unique standout feature of the home.

Heading upstairs, the open catwalk overlooks the living room on one side and the foyer on the other. There are four bedrooms on this floor. One is an oversized bunk room with a 75” TV, five twin beds, and a queen-size convertible bean-bag bed. The remaining three bedrooms each feature king beds; one has its own private bath, and there is an additional shared bath in the hallway.

A separate stairway upstairs leads to the coolest feature of the house - a spacious covered patio offering long-range mountain views. We love to take our coffee up here and enjoy the pristine views and the crisp air. The ever changing colors of the morning sun on the horizon makes the usually brisk air so worth it!

Downstairs, you’ll find a large open entertainment area with a another large, comfy sectional, an electric stone fireplace, a second full kitchen/wet bar, ping pong, and the theater room. The theater room has 11.2.4 surround sound from a very high-end sound system that pairs oh- so-well with the 98" mini-led TV. The second kitchen has 6 swivel chairs around the bar, facing a flat-screen TV. One downstairs bedroom includes a king-size bed, large windows overlooking the forest, a private balcony, and direct access to the shared bath. Another bedroom features two twin beds.

In the oversized two-car garage you will find a useful mud/dog wash station that offers easy cleanup after mountain hikes or rainy-day adventures.
