The Fontana Hotel has an excellent location, right next to a big shopping mall and surrounded by many restaurants and services, which makes it very convenient for visitors. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, and that was a highlight of our stay. However, the hotel is definitely in need of major upgrades and better cleaning standards. We noticed pieces of lime in the hallways and empty Coca-Cola bottles near the elevator that stayed there for quite a long time without being removed. The rooms are spacious, but the A/C barely works, and the bathroom is tiny with a slippery shower floor, which can be unsafe. Also, there are very few plugs in the room, making it difficult to charge devices. The potential is there, but improvements are necessary to match the price and the otherwise great location and staff.
