The room was extremely dirty and it looked like someone had vomited on the side of the bed. I went to the front desk to ask for a new room and got a new room assigned that was only slightly less dirty. I couldn't get myself to stay there - and would never take my shoes off let alone sleep in a room that dirty. Yuck. Several of the rooms in the wing we were in looked like they'd been broken into. The front desk told me that it was because there had been a fire a couple of months ago and that the hotel didn't have the means to fix it. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful overall. I ended up leaving and asking for a refund.

Great location for your money

Very nice lobby. Fast desk check-in and helpful with info. I go on-foot, so being walking distance to downtown and the Greenbelt is a must. Great stay, so thank you, Red Lion!

Room was nasty it smelt so bad are clothes smell like it today leaving. Shower was dirty the ceiling is caving in. Hotel is under construction. Furniture in room was dirty and badly stained night stands was sticky. We walked in to dog poop on the floor. Parking was absolutely horrible. Vomit all over the parking lot cigarette butts covered the property. Worst experience stay and I am sick to my stomach with the smell.

Well, if I had read the reviews first, I would not have written this because I would never have stayed there. Ironically, I wasn't even going to write a review until I received an email from them asking me to do so. Oopsies. I'll keep it short with a list of reasons: -Fridge didn't work -TV didn't work -Bugs in the bathroom -Clogged sinks and bathtub -No room service -Abandoned cars in the parking lot (should have been my first sign) -In our hallway, it was obvious that multiple doors had either been kicked in or jimmied. Not exactly comforting. -Carpets worn and torn and fixed with tape -And here is the REAL KICKER, the hotel also doubles as a homeless shelter. Yup, not exaggerating. Google it. All this being said, I must say there was one nice thing, and it defies logic considering what they have to deal with. The staff were great. It's the owners who should be ashamed.

NO AIRCONDITION!! On second floor. CARPECT ON THE HALLWAY ARE VERY UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS. Just had a knee surgery and it was scary walking in those halls.

You get what you pay for....

First the good: The room is a good size, the location is near downtown and the bed was comfortable. The bad: We paid extra for a premium room which included a balcony. The screen door was off the track and leaning against the wall outside with a big hole in it as if someone kicked it the screen. The dresser was dirty like someone spilled milk all over the front. I had wipes with me and cleaned it off. The bathroom light in the ceiling did not have a cover and showed a lot of dirt and disgusting crud. The pillows on the bed were really small so I asked the front desk for another pillow. They could not find any extra pillows. I tried calling the front desk at 8pm and no one would answer. I called again at 8:10pm, still no answer. My room was non-smoking but it smelled like smoke, so we kept the sliding glass door open (with no screen).

I would NOT go back.

The Good - Bathroom and beds were clean. Breakfast service with Lisa was excellent. The Bad - Hallway carpet was in terrible condition, dirty, torn, trip hazard, literally duck taped together, (2nd floor). Many of the room doors looked like they had been busted by police. Sliding glass door to balcony had no lock. Chair in room had stains and under cushion had piles of crumbs and cards. We had three rooms booked in our party. One family left immediately.

Room was dirty under the beds, under bathroom counter, closet door wouldn’t shut, slider door didn’t lock, built in the 1970s and has not been updated. All the doors looked like the police had busted them down. They could have filmed the Shining in this hotel.

Probably the grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I always bring my own bedding and pillows on the road and I was sure glad I did when we arrived at this S**t hole. The staff was at least pleasant, but the facilities were in condemnable conditions. I would recommend buying a tent and sleeping outside with the wildlife before I would tell someone to stay here. It was absolutely disgusting.
The ceiling was literally falling on us our entire stay. Asbestos anyone?!
Ceiling was falling apart and could tell they had used Killz to cover up all the mold that had collected over the years.
The tub had soap scum and stains all over it
It was like they hadn’t vacuumed in a year
