I was very happy with the Santa Caterina apartment in Bologna! I booked a five-night stay during what turned out to be the height of summer heat, and was always relieved to step into the comfortably air-conditioned apartment. Located on the top floor of the building, this apartment (unlike lower floors) features a rooftop patio (which also proved to be a great space to dry my laundry), and the views of the sunset and city skyline from the patio were gorgeous. Kitchen and bathroom were both perfectly outfitted, and I had absolutely no complaints. Highly recommended! (Note: no elevator, so be prepared to walk up four flights of stairs to the apartment--would not recommend for those with mobility limitations.)
