Modern and elegant apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms located on the 5th and last floor (with an elevator up to the 4th floor and then 20 steps) of an elegant building with doorman on a main street of Bologna. This apartment is in a truly exclusive setting, just a short walk from Piazza Maggiore and the most famous monuments of the city. It is also very convenient for parking your car either in Piazza VIII Agosto or at the train station.
Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, our staff is available to address any requests or concerns.
This magnificent 2 bedroom apartment of about 90 sqm was completely renovated in June 2019 and is furnished with modern, custom-made furniture. It is equipped with high-quality finishes such as anti-noise windows, state-of-the-art domotics, restored and exposed original beams, smoke detectors, and air conditioning in all rooms, as well as independent heating (programmable via a touchscreen display). The apartment also has a fast fiber optic internet connection that you can use to connect to your Netflix account on the large 42” smart TV.
Via a long corridor, you will find the welcoming and spacious living room where the refined nuances chosen for the textiles, the wide use of mirrored surfaces, and the paintings create an extremely modern and welcoming atmosphere ideal for relaxing after a day of work or exploring the city. There is an elegant 2-person sofa, 2 comfortable and coordinated armchairs, and a dining table for 6 guests, above which an arched lamp is beautifully displayed.
The kitchen is separated from the living area by a sliding glass door. It is very well equipped and admirably finished with a carved stone counter, a dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, microwave oven, and gas stove. There is also a washing machine equipped with a dryer function.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a desk with a comfortable armchair, and a large walk-in closet. Both rooms overlook an internal courtyard and thus guarantee a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed (160 x 200 cm) while the second bedroom offers 2 single beds (80 x 200 cm), which can be joined together on request to form a second double bed. Both the bathrooms are well finished and equipped with large custom shower stalls

The apartment is located in a stately context in the heart of Bologna’s city centre, in a historic building just a stone’s throw from Piazza Maggiore and all the most important monuments of the city. The apartment is located on Via dell’Indipendenza, the most famous shopping street in Bologna. The apartment is close to both the lively Mercato delle Erbe and the university district, as well as a short distance from Palazzo Ghisilardi, home of the Medieval Civic Museum of Bologna. A walk through the center will lead you to discover points of great historical and artistic interest, such as the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, the famous Teatro dell’Opera Comunale, the characteristic Jewish ghetto, the Garisenda and the Asinelli towers (just 2 minutes on foot). The quadrilateral of alleys near Piazza Maggiore with its center on Via Pescherie Vecchie, with all its food and wine shops, is also very close by.
Public transportation:
Via dell’Indipendenza is a main street for most of Bologna’s public transportation. Along the street you can take buses directly to the station, to the fair, and even to the airport.
Parking:
The apartment is located within the restricted traffic area (ZTL). Via Indipendenza / Via Rizzoli / Via Ugo Bassi only allow the circulation of buses, taxis, handicap badges and residents. During the weekends, these streets are pedestrian.
The nearest public pay garage is just outside the ZTL, in Piazza VIII Agosto (APCOA Parking). € 200 per month or € 24 for 24h. We advise guests to reach the garage by entering the center from Via Irnerio or Via Capo di Lucca, then turning onto Via Alessandrini and following the signs to the entrance. The apartment is located 300 m. from there.

In case of multi-month stays (from 3 months on) it is possible to request an entry permit to the historic city center. For customers who stay for a short period, the Municipality admits entry by car to the center only for 3 days in the course of a month or for 4 consecutive days.
