Cold Lake comfort.

I checked in later at night and was greeted with a friendly smile. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. Only complaint is no freezer on my mini fridge (I had small freezer packs for food transportation). Stayed here last year and plan on staying next year if I go to Cold Lake.

One night in a King suite, bathroom floor needs replacing and the bed being a coil mattress you could feel every move your spouse made, rolling over etc.

My keys stopped working every single day twice a day, I was there for 3 days. They told me I couldn't keep the keys in my purse, pockets or by my cell phone or they would stop working. I went back to my room for a couple hours and kept the key cards on top the drawer away from everything else, got ready to leave, key cards were not working again. Staff seemed to be annoyed everytime I went to get them reactivated. Aside from this, the first day I got to my room, it was ice cold in there, I tried putting the heat on for a bit, heater wasn't working. Maintenence came to fix it. Everytime we showered, the floor was soaking wet as the shower head was old and leaked everywhere outside of the shower curtain. We had no plug for baths, the floor had hairs on them when we first arrived. will not be going back to this hotel.

Everything is quite good except when i ask the male housekeeping in the afternoon for towels. All clean towels are on the floor in the hallway he got my towels there and handed it to me. I would suggest they should have a bin for clean ones.everyone is walking in and out on the 3rd floor halls.

Hotel is easily accessible with plenty of parking. Hotel (rooms in particular) is showing signs of aging and in need of some upkeep in terms of cleanliness. One of the lights was out in our bathroom and the grout along the counter is in need of cleaning or replacement Minimal staffing too. When our key cards were de-magnetized, there was nobody at the front desk to get new keys. There was a bell to ring for service but still nobody to help. It was an average stay, to say the least.
