Great mountain-y feel! High ceilings and fireplace in the lobby/dining area, firepit outside ... Front desk staff was friendly and courteous, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet was varied and enjoyable! It looked and felt like the hotel had been remodeled recently. Really was surprised by how much I enjoyed this hotel! Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Boone!

Great location, clean hotel, and friendly front desk staff. However, we weren’t informed that our room had no exterior window—the only window faced the indoor atrium, making the room very dark. Worse, there was a loud noise coming from an unknown source every few minutes, especially noticeable at night. We’re usually good sleepers, but barely got any rest. Changing rooms in the middle of the night wasn’t practical, so we just endured it. Quite a disappointing stay.
