Health Hazard

The draperier were pulled down. Their was a bag of trash with empty booze bottles on the deck and a needle cover. The room smelled of stale smoke. The decor is dated and furniture worn out.

*The bed slept great! *The location for parking was very tight. *The TV was too small, but the cable service (ie., the channel guide and number of available channels) was excellent. *Coffee pot and cups were good; however, there were no coffee packets in the room upon our arrival. When we called about it, we had to go get it ourselves…..possibly no room service available? *There was no ice machine at our lodge and the ice maker in the main office generated ice very slowly. *The room in general was rather old and dark and in need of major updates. *The price seemed high for the quality of the accommodation.

Could use updates and a deep cleaning but the staff and views make up for it. I’m physically disabled and was given a first floor room. However, the restroom was not handicapped equipped: raised toilet, shower etc. But next time I will let them know my needs more clearly.

Run down!!

Not at all what was pictured in the reservation the room was very old and run down. The front door would not stay closed unless you locked the deadbolt.

Awesome stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The people are very nice. Our hotel room felt like a cabin. Refrigerator, microwave, television, whirlpool bath, hot water, everything worked. The towels and wash rags were a little flimsy, and the floor might have been vacuumed a teeny bit better, but for the rustic feel, everything was very nice. We would definitely come back. 4-wheel drive is a very good idea!
